WAR - AMERICA'S GAME
Arrogance is almost always supported by ignorance.
People who disagree with another's point of view get sidelined and, in the passive voice, intimidation is attempted. That stance immediately closes many doors on the way to trying to find room for compromise and possible areas of agreement.
Solutions don't really seem to be a part of the blogdom. And that's OK, nobody's paying us to come up with solutions. Making strong REASONED points and raising questions is valuable too. I put myself in that camp for the most part. But what that does is illustrate the point that solutions are hard to formulate. They take hard work.
That's what government - AT ALL LEVELS - should be based on. Increasingly, it is what I've come to call the "war stance," which has turned governing into a zero sum game.
But that's not want I meant to write - where did that come from? No what I really wanted to say was I know I'm right so please don't try and change my mind. How dare you. Who do you think you are? What? An American citizen?
