CJR CAMPAIGN DESK DOING WELL

It is starting to sound like MediaWhores and DailyHowler, however. But only on the surface.

Love this post -
absolutely love it - about the number of words spoken in the NH "debate."

Turns out, the people asking the questions spoke 30 percent of the time. And Peter Jennings spoke more words than Clark, Kucinich or Sharpton.

That is so transparently funny - and tragic at the same time.

Here's the full run-down, in total words spoken:

Candidates
Edwards: 2641
Kerry: 2128
Lieberman: 2089
Dean: 1968
Clark: 1619
Kucinich: 1550
Sharpton: 1532

Moderators/Questioners
Jennings: 1870
Hume: 1403
Griffith: 1296
Di Staso: 1185
