Liberal Media

Romenesko posts:
Democrats want the Augusta Chronicle to apologize for Rick McKee's editorial cartoon [no registration] that implies Osama bin Laden supports John Kerry. "Thursday's editorial cartoon in the Augusta Chronicle was a disgrace," says Georgia's Democratic Party chairman. Editorial page editor Michael Ryan says: "To me, this cartoon is merely saying that terrorists would rather have John Kerry to deal with than George W. Bush. And I think that's not only a legitimate opinion but one that is borne out by the facts."

The opinion line is often the one given in regard to, well, opinions and satirical cartoons. I would have been with him there. Wouldn't have liked it, but there you go. But to also say "it is borne out by the facts" leaves a rather glaring lack of any facts to support this idea. Because these facts don't exist.

Shameful.
