Treasury Department and all concerned cleared of wrong doing in supposed classified documents given to former Treasury Secreatary Paul O' Neill.

The final report follows a preliminary review last month, which found that O'Neill was improperly given documents that should have been marked classified for a book critical of President Bush

Treasury launched an investigation to determine if O'Neill received classified documents after someone at the department saw a document marked "secret" on the CBS News program "60 Minutes" during an interview with O'Neill to promote the book last January

Many of the 19,000 documents have been posted on a website devoted to the book, "The Price of Loyalty," written by journalist Ron Suskind with O'Neill's help and published in January by Simon & Schuster

The final report released Monday said former Treasury General Counsel David Aufhauser should have reviewed the documents before releasing them to O'Neill
"Aufhauser stated he assumed full responsibility for the lack of the review," the report said.
