This Guy Caused A Shitstorm

If this is the same Brian Wikner who "fixed" the computers at the Senate Judiciary Committee and allowed Republicans full access to Democrat files, then, yes, he caused a shitstorm. (Note, he has a section on his whatnoise.cc Web site titled "
Last Days at Judiciary")

Apparently - and according to the official Senate Sergeant at Arms Report (PDF and html versions (here and here (part 2)) he set all the user permissions to open. As presented the Republicans then took everything they could once they found the hole - and Democrats did none of that.

That is the fact. Was this illegal? Not sure. Seems to be though. Something to be used in the campaign to speak to this "uniting" Rove administration we have here? Absolutely. Should the Republicans be allowed to use what they found in the campaign - basing nomination strategy on political effect? Yes, but only if they release their - non-stolen - strategy records.

PS Oops, I used his photo without his permission. I could - really - get sued. Would that be wrong?
